How to Get to Anaga Rural Park
We recommend using public transport whenever possible. Car parking in Anaga is limited, especially on weekends, and the narrow roads can become congested. Using the bus helps protect this fragile natural area and avoids the stress of finding a place to park.
By Car:
From Santa Cruz, take the TF-11 coastal road (towards San Andrés) or TF-12 through the mountains via Las Mercedes.
From La Laguna, use the TF-12 road to reach Cruz del Carmen and the forest trails.
🛑 Note: There are no gas stations inside the park. Fill up in Las Mercedes or Valleseco before entering.
By Bus (TITSA):
Several bus lines connect Santa Cruz and La Laguna to key areas in Anaga, including Taganana, Almáciga, Afur, Chamorga, and Cruz del Carmen.
