Discover Playa Grande
Playa Grande is located on the south coast of Tenerife and is known for its fine white sand and crystal-clear water. The beach offers a gradual entry into the water, making it safe for swimming with usually no strong currents. The beach is often windy, and there are sometimes smaller waves, which attract beginner surfers.
The beach is not very well known among tourists, so it is mainly visited by local families with children, and surf schools occasionally bring students here.
Playa Grande offers a view of Teide on the horizon, adding to its natural beauty.
