Discover Playa de la Arena

Playa de la Arena is located on the north coast of Tenerife in the charming town of Mesa del Mar. The area offers more than just a beach. There’s also a large ocean pool and a 3 km coast path that leads to the nearby village of El Pris.

The beach has a blue flag certification for its clean waters and safety, is around 400 meters long and has gradual and safe entry into the water. Black volcanic sand and is situated in a natural bay, which helps protect it from strong waves and currents.

The ocean pool is over 50 meters long and offers a great spot for swimming in calm water. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the beach.

Showers: Available year-round.

Toilets and lifeguards are available during the summer season.

Bar, and a small grocery shop are just a 4-minute walk from the beach.

Restaurants are about 3 km away on foot along the coast, in the village of El Pris. They serve Canarian cuisine and local specialities.

Ocean Pool: There’s a swimming ocean pool for those who prefer a more protected spot to swim.

How to Get Here

The parking area has space for over 100 cars and is located just a few meters from the beach. During peak times, it may get busy, but it is generally easy to find a spot.
