Discover Playa la Tejita
Playa La Tejita is located on the south coast of Tenerife near the southern airport and the Montaña Roja nature reserve. It is one of the largest natural beaches in Tenerife, most natural beaches in Tenerife have dark lava sand, but at Playa de la Tejita, the sand is relatively bright and fine-grained.
Playa La Tejita is not a crowded place, there are no big hotels yet in the area, mostly locals come here from the surrounding towns, so you can always find a place to lie down or for beach activities and also for children to play.
The only downside is the strong wind that often blows here, so check the forecast.
