Montaña Amarilla is a natural monument on the south coast of Tenerife, known for its yellow-black volcanic cliffs, sculpted by erosion and waves.
Playa Montaña Amarilla has been a natural monument since 1994, it covers an area of 27.8 ha. This unique landscape extends both above and below the ocean’s surface, providing a habitat for various species of fish, birds, and plants.
It’s a paradise for snorkelers thanks to its crystal-clear turquoise waters and diverse marine life. The area also features sunbathing platforms and a hiking trail to the top of the volcano, offering spectacular panoramic views.
