Information

Punta del Hidalgo is a charming fishing village on the north coast of Tenerife, known for its natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere. It has a rich history dating back to the Guanche period, long before the arrival of the Spanish.

Unlike the tourist-heavy resorts in the south, Punta del Hidalgo remains a quiet, local spot where visitors can enjoy stunning ocean views, a rugged coastline, and authentic Canarian cuisine.

One of the highlights of the area is the coastal path, offering breathtaking scenery, birdwatching opportunities, and small natural pools along the way.

    • The 50-meter-high Punta del Hidalgo Lighthouse (built in 1992)
