Discover Tabaiba Natural Pool

The Tabaiba Natural Pool is a saltwater pool filled directly from the ocean. It’s located in a small coastal town just 15 km south of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Protected from waves and usually calm, it offers a safe and peaceful swim — ideal for families with children or anyone looking for a quiet spot.

The pool is between one and two meters deep, with easy access via stairs and a ramp with a handrail. There’s also a direct exit into the open ocean, where the water is often calm enough for a gentle swim.

You’ll find plenty of space to lay down and relax around the pool, and it’s rarely crowded, even on warm days.

Tabaiba is also known for its diving conditions. Just offshore lies a sunken ship, now home to many fish. The area is popular for freediving, and there’s a local diving school nearby.

You can also enjoy a coastal walk that starts right in Tabaiba. The route is about 2.5 km long and connects three small towns: Tabaiba, Playa de la Nea, and Bocacangrejo. It follows the cliffs and the sea, passing black sand beaches, calm swimming areas, playgrounds, and a beach bar
