7 Days in Tenerife with Kids

This 7-day itinerary is made for families visiting Tenerife with kids. We know how important it is to balance relaxation with discovery — without spending hours in the car every day.

That’s why we’ve chosen family-friendly places that are easy to reach, offer space to play, and include a mix of beaches, local towns, short walks, and fun activities.

Where to stay: We recommend basing yourself in Puerto de Santiago or Alcalá — a sunny and quieter part of the island, well located between north and south. You’ll have the beach nearby, good weather, and easy access to both sides of the island.

Planning tip: We start with the longer drives first – when everyone still has more energy. Always check the weather: if it’s sunny in the north, take that opportunity to go.
