FAQ - Traveling with Kids in Tenerife

There are a few areas that make life easier if you stay nearby.

Alcalá. The weather is also very good here, and you’ll find a beautiful beach, ocean pools, a playground, restaurants, and shops. It offers a more cozy and relaxed atmosphere and you’re close for both north and south of the Island.

Puerto de la Cruz can also be a good choice since has a lot of life and really nice beaches. In the winter months it’s  cooler, and not every day is sunny.

Los Cristianos, Las Américas, and Costa Adeje. All these places are located in the south of the island, so even in winter they offer the best weather. They all have sandy beaches calm water and You’ll also find all the necessary facilities here since it’s the most touristic part of the island. 

Yes. From the good weather to being an Europe destination makes it Tenerife a perfect place to travel with kids. 
The Island has really good infrastrutures and the people is really welcoming. 

Yes — children love the Teide Cable Car ride. It’s a short but scenic ascent to the top station. Note: kids under 3 and people with heart or lung conditions are not advised to go up due to the altitude.

Definitely! Many restaurants offer simple dishes like grilled chicken, pasta, fries, and Canarian potatoes.
